CAMP OVERVIEW

Are you ready to jump into summer fun while learning exciting new gymnastics skills?
​
This summer, join us for exciting two-day gymnastics skill camps designed to elevate your gymnast's performance on their favorite event, as well as spark joy, foster creativity, and engage gymnasts in exciting physical activities! Each day consists of 3 hours of intensive and fun training. This makes it the perfect opportunity for gymnasts to enhance their abilities, build confidence, and learn progressive techniques in a supportive and fun environment. These camps are structures to ensure each gymnast has a memorable and enriching experience.

​We will have 2 different-themed summer camps, each focusing on different events each week. Gymnasts will learn the fundamentals and techniques for perfecting and advancing their currents skills, as well as learning through games and challenges.

Everything GYMNASTICS Camp
​
Camp Structure
Beginners: Building Strong Foundations
For Beginners, the camp will focus on mastering the basics. We believe that solid fundamentals are essential for advancing to more challenging skills

Warm-up: Dynamic Stretches and mobility exercises tailored to the events preparation
-
Conditioning: Targeted conditioning exercises to prepare for higher-intensity skills
-
Vaults: Run-up skills, proper takeoff mechanics, and introduction to basic vault shapes like straight and tuck jumps
-
Bars: Techniques including basic skills, swings, cast shapes, and simple dismounts
-
Beam: Basic walks, and skills, balancing, and introductory mounts and dismounts, The focus will be on developing stability, proper posture, and confidence while moving safely on the beam,
-
Floor: Basic tumbling like forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, and handstands, The focus is good form, safe landings, and having fun while building flexibility and coordination
Intermediate to Advanced: Progressing to Advanced Skills
For intermediate and Advanced, the camp will focus on more advanced techniques and building upon the groundwork of basic skills.

Warm-up: Dynamic Stretches and mobility exercises tailored to the events preparation

Conditioning: Targeted conditioning exercises to prepare for higher-intensity skills

Vault: Progression to handspring vaults, drills for round-off and 1/2-on entry vaults and enhancements on air awareness

Bars: Development of kipping techniques, execution of small circles skills, and introductions to bar exchanges

Beam: Progression on improving balance and posture with skills such as turns, jumps, handstand, and cartwheels. They will be introduced to new dismounts, as well as practice connecting elements to increase confidence and consistency on the beam.

Floor: Introduction to round-offs, bridge kickovers, back walkovers, and back handsprings. They will practice connecting skills, improving tumbling, and working handstands, cartwheels, leaps, and turns.
Fun and Games: Learning thru Play

To add an extra layer of excitement and engagement, the camp will incorporate games that not only entertain but also reinforce the skills being taught.

These activities not only make training enjoyable but also allow gymnasts to practice coordination, focus, and technique in a dynamic and lively way.

Flip, Twist, & Tramp for EVERYONE Camp
​
Camp Structure
Beginners: Building Strong Foundations

Warm-up: Dynamic Stretches and mobility exercises tailored to floor and trampoline preparation

Conditioning: Targeted conditioning exercises to prepare for higher-intensity skills

Floor: Techniques including basic tumbling skills: rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and controlled bridges to develop strength and spatial awareness
-
Trampoline: Introduction to controlled bouncing, safe landings, and basic aerial shapes such as tuck, pike, and straddle jumps
Intermediate to Advanced: Progressing to Advanced Skills
For intermediate and Advanced, the camp will focus on more advanced techniques and building upon the groundwork of basic skills.

Warm-up: Dynamic Stretches and mobility exercises tailored to floor and trampoline preparation

Conditioning: Targeted conditioning exercises to prepare for higher-intensity skills

Floor: Progression to advanced tumbling sequences, such as round-offs, back handsprings, and aerial/salto skills
-
Trampoline: Development of flipping techniques, drills for twists and rotations, and enhancement of air awareness
Fun and Games: Learning thru Play

To keep the energy high and learning fun, games and playful challenges will be integrated that reinforce floor and trampoline skills.

From obstacle courses that test agility and coordination to creative flipping contests, that inspire friendly competition.
