How do I sign my child up for classes?
You can either sign up in person at Ascension Athletics or online through our parent portal by clicking here or the registration tab above. There is an annual $35 registration fee for the first child. For any additional child, the registration fee is $20 per child.
Can I sign up my other children?
Yes, you can! This can be done either in person at Ascension Athletics or online through the parent portal. For every additional child, there is a $20 registration fee. Each family with multiple children will receive a 5% discount on tuition.
What do I do if my child misses a class?
We completely understand that things happen that are out of your control sometimes. That's why we offer makeup classes. Makeup classes can be scheduled in person at Ascension Athletics or through the parent portal. We do not pro-rate tuition for missed classes.
When will my child move up to the next class?
In every class, your child is evaluated. When your child is able to meet all skills and requirements for their current class, the coach of the class will provide your child with a move-up invitation.
What is your coach-to-student ratio?
To ensure maximum safety and personalized instruction, we maintain a strict small class size. For our GymTots classes (ages 1.5 - 4 years), the ratio is 1 coach for every 6 students. For our Juniors & Beginner classes, the ratio is 1 coach for every 8 students. For our Intermediate & Advanced classes, the ratio is 1 coach for every 10 students.
What age should my child start structured gymnastics classes?
We offer structured recreational classes for children aged 1.5 to 16 years, as well as competitive gymnastics for children aged 6 to 18 years.

What is the pricing for classes?
Pricing varies based on the class and duration. It can be found on the class schedule or the Classes page.
How do I pay my tuition?
Tuition can be paid in person at Ascension Athletics, through the parent portal, or over the phone during business hours. Autopay is also an available option. Just ask the front desk to enroll.
Do you offer birthday parties?
Yes we do! We are a fully equipped indoor kids' birthday party venue. Our birthday party package includes private use of the gym, structured games led by our coaches, and a dedicated space for cake and gifts. Click Here or give us a call 775-753-7357 for additional information.
Is there a late tuition fee?
Yes, there is a $15 late fee that is charged if payments are not made by the 15th of each month. If your child misses 4 consecutive classes or if payment is not made, your child will be dropped from their class.
Can my child join if they have no prior gymnastics experience?
Absolutely! We specialize in gymnastics for beginners. Our beginner classes are specifically designed for kids with zero experience, focusing on foundational safety, building confidence, and learning basic gymnastics skills at their own pace.
Do you offer free trial classes for new students?
Yes we do! We want to ensure our facility is the perfect fit for your child. New local students can schedule a free trial class online to experience a class, meet our coaches, and see the facility before enrolling. Free trials can be scheduled through our parent portal.
